Paneer Butter Masala

Paneer Butter Masala


Ingredients

  • Paneer (500 grms, cut into cubes)
  • Onion (1 large size, cut into sliced)
  • Ginger Paste (2 tbsp)
  • Garlic Paste (2 tbsp)
  • Tomato (5 to 6 chopped)
  • Red Chilli Powder (1 tsp)
  • Coriander Powder (1 tsp)
  • Coriander seeds (2 tbsp, crushed)
  • Dried Red Chillies (2 to 3, broken)
  • Cinnamon (1 to 2 inch)
  • Cloves (2 to 3)
  • Bay Leaves (2 to 3)
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Kasoori Methi (1/2 tsp)
  • Butter
  • Oil
  • Fresh Cream (2 tbsp)




Instructions

  1. At first add oil and butter in a pan and heat it & add bay leaves, cinnamon, clove, dry red chilli and crushed coriander seed and fry for few seconds.
  2. Then add sliced onion and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until golden colour.
  3. After that add ginger paste & garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
  4. After that add coriander powder, red chilli powder and chopped tomato and cook them on high flame till oil separate. Mash the mixture.
  5. Then Heat butter in another pan and add mash mixture & cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. After 3 minutes add paneer, salt, sugar and 1 cup water. Cook them on low flame for 5 minutes with a lid.
  7. Then sprinkle kasoori methi and mix them. 
  8. Then Remove the pan from the oven and add fresh cream. Serve with nun.
