Carrot Halwa

It is an indian sweet dish and awesome taste. Try this in your home and serve chill or hot as a desert. It is very simple.

Carrot Halwa



Ingredients

  • Carrot (1/2 kg, grated)
  • Milk (1 cup)
  • Sugar (3/4 cup)
  • Ghee (2 to 3 tbsp)
  • Green Cardamom Powder (a pinch of)
  • Cashews and almonds (Roasted)


Instructions

  1. At first heat the ghee in a pan then add carrots and fry them on medium flame until get nice smell.
  2. Then add milk and cardamom powder and mix & cook.
  3. When the milk evaporates add sufficient sugar.
  4. Then simmer until the milk is with carrot (Stir continuously).
  5. When all moisture evaporates removes it from the oven and garnished with roasted cashew and almonds.
