Chilli Fish

Chilli fish is a Chinese recipe. It’s taste awesome. Try this in your kitchen and enjoy it in your dinner.

Chilli Fish



Ingredients

  • Deboned Fish (any fish with a  firm flesh or use prawns, 250gms cut into small size cubes)
  • Cornflour (3 tbsp) 
  • Ginger & Garlic Paste (1 tbsp each)
  • Black Pepper Powder (1 tsp) 
  • Onion (1 big size, cubed)
  • Capsicum (1 big size, cubed)
  • Tomato Sauce (1 tbsp)
  • Soya Sauce (1/2 to 1 tsp) 
  • Green Chilli Sauce (1 tbsp) 
  • Spring Onion and Coriander leaves (A small bunch , chopped finely)
  • Salt


Instructions

  1. At first make a thick batter of  cornflour,  ginger & garlic paste, salt, pepper powder and water.
  2. Dip the fish pieces in this batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown
  3. Drain it and keep aside for later use.
  4. In the same oil add the onions & capsicum cubes. When these start to turn pink, add the ginger and garlic paste & saute for 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Turn the fire into high flame. Add the soya sauce, chilli sauce & tomato sauce and mix well and reduce heat.
  6. After that add the fried fish pieces.
  7. Mix well & cook on low flame. Then mix some cornflour in a small bowl of water, without  lumps.  
  8. Add  the mixture into the pan & cook until the sauce thickens.
  9. At last add chopped coriander leaves or spring onions for garnish. And without delay Serve hot.
