Chicken Butter Masala

Indian chicken butter masala is very tasty. Just try it in your kitchen and serve with tandoori roti. It’s not so much tough you can do it. Look the recipe below.

Chicken Butter Masala



Ingredients

  • Boneless Chicken  (250 gm, cut cube shape)
  • Onions (2 large size, chopped)
  • Tomato (1, chopped)
  • Tomato Paste (1 tbsp)  
  • Butter
  • Garlic (1 tsp, chopped)
  • Ginger (1 tsp, chopped)
  • Coriander Powder (2 tsp) 
  • Red Chilli Powder (1 tsp)
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder (1 tsp) 
  • Garam Masala (1 tsp)
  • Kasuri Methi ( two pinch of)
  • Milk (1 cup) 
  • Cream / Cashew paste (3 tbsp)
  • Salt
  • Turmeric Powder (1/4 tsp) 
  • Coriander Leaves (chopped for garnish)


Instructions

  1. At first heat the butter in a pan and add chopped onions and fry until it turns golden brown
  2. Then add chopped ginger-garlic & all spices (coriander powder- red chilli and kashmiri red chilli powder-turmeric) and salt. Fry them for 4 to 5 minutes until come good aroma.
  3. After that add chopped tomato and tomato paste and cook for 3 to 4 minutes till oil begins to turn out from the side.
  4. Then add kasuri methi, milk, and cubed chicken pieces and cover the pan and cook them low flame for 8 to 10 minutes until the chicken pieces are soft.
  5. When the chicken pieces cooked well, open the cover and cook again for few minues. 
  6. If the gravy is too thick add some water and cook.
  7. After that add garam masala and the cream or cashew paste and stir well for a minute.
  8. Then remove the pan from the stove and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  9. Serve hot with butter nun, mixed rice or tandoori roti.
