Peas Pulao

It is an awesome recipe and very easy to cook. Its ingredients are available in your kitchen. Just try it.

Peas Pulao

Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice (1/2 cup)
  • Green Peas (1/2 cup, fresh/ frozen)
  • Onion (1 medium size, finely chopped)
  • Ginger & Garlic (1/2 tbsp, crushed)
  • Green Chilli (1 to 2, finely chopped)
  • Cinnamon (1 inch stick)
  • Cloves (2 to 3)
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Ghee
  • Hot Water (1 cup) 




Instructions

  1. At first wash and soak the basmati rice for 10 to 15 minutes. Then drain water and keep aside.
  2. Then heat oil & ghee in a pan and add cinnamon stick and cloves.
  3. After few seconds add onion, green chilli and ginger-garlic. And  fry them until onion turn pink in colour.
  4. Then add rice & green peas and mix them properly and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. After that pour hot water and salt and stir lightly on medium flame. When it will start boil cover the pan and reduce heat into low. Cook them properly till rice become tender & well cooked.
  6. Then remove the pan from the oven and keep them with cover from 8 to 10 minutes (standing time).  After that serve it hot.
