Chicken Rezala

Chicken rezala is a very yummy chicken dish. It’s smell is too good and not too much hard to make. Try this delicious dish in your kitchen and enjoy.

Chicken Rezala



Ingredients

  • Chicken  (500 grms)
  • Onion paste  (1 cup)
  • Ginger & Garlic paste (1 tbsp)
  • Yogurt/ Curd  (1 cup)
  • Red chili Powder  (2 tsp)
  • Dry Red chili (1 to 2)
  • Cashew Paste  (1 tbsp) 
  • Poppy Seeds Paste (1 tbsp)
  • White Pepper Powder  (1 tsp) 
  • Sugar (1 tsp)
  • Salt 
  • Bay Leaves ( a pair of to 3)
  • Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Mace ( few) 
  • Nutmeg Powder (a pinch of)
  • Oil or drawn butter
  • Kewra Water  (5 to 6 drops)


Instructions

  1. Initially step the chicken with 1/2 cup of onion paste, 1 tsp of ginger & garlic paste, 1/2 cup of curd or yoghourt, red chilli powder, salt and a couple of drops of kewra water. combine them well and keep aside for 3 to 4 hours.
  2. Then heat oil or drawn butter in a large pan and add bay leaves, dry red chili, cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves, mace and nutmeg powder. 
  3. After few seconds add solely marinated chicken items stir and fry all sides on medium flame fry for 7 to 8 minutes. 
  4. Once chicken items area unit gently deep-fried add marinated spices, curd/yoghurt, cashew  paste and poppy seeds paste and cook them on medium flame. 
  5. Then add salt, sugar and white pepper powder and cook till chicken become soft.
  6. Then add a pair of or three drops of  kewra water and combine well on low flame for 3 to 4 minutes. 
  7. Then take away it from the kitchen appliance and serve hot with roomali roti, pulao & biryani.
